Step 1 Open a new 100x100 canvas and paste this image into it. I cropped this image from one of my magazine scans. Name the layer base.
Step 2 Go to Image > Adjustments > Curves and choose the these settings.
Step 3Duplicate your base (name it layer 2). On layer 2, Go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance and enter these settings. Click OK. Layer 2 should look like this. Now again, go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance and enter these settings. Click OK. Layer 2 should look like this. Now, set layer 2 to Overlay.
Step 4 Make a new layer (name it layer 3) and place it bewtween the base and layer 2. Paste this texture in it [cropped from my own]. Set the texture to Linear Burn. Erase the clouds INSIDE of the model.
Step 5 Make a new layer (name it layer 4) between layer 2 and layer 3. Paste this texture in it [cropped from my own]. Set this texture to to Color Burn, Fill: 50%.
