NO AUTOMATICALLY STARTING MUSIC! ON EVERY PAGE! That is a very, very annoying thing to have on your site. Remove it, please. It's ruining In the Ghetto for me.
My eyes burn. The hot pink used - ouch. Try not to use such saturated colors, because it's very hard on the eyes.
I see Jessica's grammar has not improved. Pity.
Navigation
The navigation is an image map in the header. The font she chose is a bit difficult to read, but it says: Portfolio, Packages, Request, Gimme More, and Site.
Portfolio is self-explanitory, Packages leads to what you can order from her, Request leads to a request form, Gimme More is Visitor Content [I'd rename this to something more obvious], and the Site leads to site information.
Header
It's not too bad, but boring. It's a black and white image of Britney Spears put on Lighten over a grey scratch texture. The site's name is in hot pink on it, and the navigation is also in hot pink.
Brushes, another image, and maybe another, less eye-burning color would have made this more interesting.
Coding
The coding matches the image header, which really only has thre colors, all of which are in the coding. The text is hard to read because of the content background color.
I see that her coding is embedded. An external stylesheet would be more appropriate.
Content
Patterns
These are not good patterns. One was made with default photoshop brushes. The other really hurt my eyes. They are bright colors
with very small lines.
Signs
The images she used in these are very nice, but I don't see anyone using these. Someone with a site will more than likely make
their own enter, hiatus, and layout change signs.
Textures
I like the textures of water on glass. I don't see those often. There are 8 shown, and then at the bottom there is a link to a .zip file for set one. Are these 8 set 1? They are not labeled as such.
Brushes
They appear to be made with crayons. One is swirls, which would probably be useful except they have kinks in them. The other are weird firework poof-ball things.
Scans
They're magazine scans. They are of a fair size and quality for magazine scans.
Summary
The content for visitors isn't too spectacular, but I gandered at her protfolio and the image in there were pretty good [except the colorization]. If she offered
layouts or icons with quality like that, this site would be a nice site. Right now there's not much use visiting, with such little content.
Sugesstions
NO AUTOMATIC MUSIC EVER!
Spell check and use proper grammar. Your site is difficult and confusing to read.
LINK to the sites on the credit's page. Don't just paste the url.
Add visitor content with editied done as well as in your portfolio.
